The KRIBL project in general focuses on creating a robot platform for various agricultural applications, including autonomous monitoring of segetal flora, protection against birds of prey in poultry farming, and generic robot behavior for precision farming. Our partner, the Thünen Institute of Organic Farming, assists in selecting relevant practical applications and collecting data on farms. One of their main focuses is detecting and deterring birds of prey in poultry outdoor runs. Additionally, the project explores application scenarios for pasture management, such as fence control and yield recording.
